Scans are a good thing.

04-19-2003, 07:25 PM
I had thought about that, but do not know how legal that woudl be, since I dont have their permission to do so. I have seen ppl on here in the past get barked at for doing that (I think). But yes I can scan it if that were not the issue here. Sorry:confused:

somebody needs to get ahold of whoever puts that mag together and beat the living toes out of them.

LMAO *watches a lil kid buy Brute Force and ask "where's the mech?"* Seriously how can they make that mistake? Do they have eyes or a brain? Brute Force is a Co-op game that does not contain Mechs... Anyhow its a funny mistake...

<- thinks the person who wrote that article was smoking something...

I guess their editor was asleep at the wheel when that one came around.

04-19-2003, 10:25 PM
the only thing i could think of that would put the editors in the right is that they dont have the rights to put those pics in the mag........but i mean it is a game mag, so it is a slim chance that was the prob.

either way........it could be the prob.

i stopped reading Gamepro like 10 years ago, when it was good......i remember back when it was THE magazine, now it's nothing but game reviews and screenshots....no exclusives...no nothing...

and Brevity...although it was nice to see the new screens, it is a copyright issue. to quote directly from Gamepro magazine:

"Entire contents copyright 2003 by IDG Communications, INC. All Rights Reserved. Reproduction in whole or part without prior written permission by the publisher is prohibited."

so for you sake, i'm going to remove the picture from this post.

ouch... good thing i had a chance to see it :). Um, but seriously what was this guy doing when he wrote this... it could have been purpose like that cheat for Nudity in DOAX from EGM.

I have no real idea if you really looked at the reason I put this up and what I put up and all, if it would really be a copy right issue. But I pasted at two other boards and they both left them up so here are some links for those of you who have not seen it yet, and since its not really on this site that I put it I think it will be fine. Thanks and check

Obviously, the publisher of Gamepro who did that edition is not the sharpest tool in the shed :p

But he is a tool nonetheless...

I saw something simiar in OPM. It was in a review for like NBA 2k2 or something and they had an Ace Combat 04 pic in its place. Funny as hell. Mistakes happen, but sometimes i wonder how these people got their jobs in the first place...

reminds me of when OXM had a MA pic that was supposed to be THPS4. It was in the "holiday must buys" artical.
