Is it possible to use my friend's xbox live service to get some new content if I take my xbox to his house and hook it up? Or does the service only recognize his xbox?

hmm....i dunno.....the only ways i can think of is:
a.having him install his XBL service on your xbox, and then download it....but i dont think its possible to have it installed on 2 counsoles
b. transfer downloaded content to your xbox via a memory card
c.wait for the content to be on an OXM or exhibition disc

It would be a lot easier to have him put his live account on a mem. card and then come to your place. that way you can d/l the new content without moving your box at all.

Damn you duke, we're trippin' over each other now!:watchout:

I was just going to say what duke said, but the answer is yes, you can have your account on multiple XBoxes, you just can't have both xboxes on Live at the same time.

Have you seen how small that file actually is? You can easily put it on a memory card (one of the reasons why the early beta testers got memory cards, so that they could transfer their account to other xboxes).
