how log did it take you to get the hang of this game

cause i bought it yesterday and I cannot get used to the damn game. I keep getting shot up like a *****. hahaha

Suggestion...play with the DDC or G-Unit. We'll try and bring you along. We've tutored many successfully. Either way, don't give up on it, just keep playing it. Also, aggresive playing isn't for everyone, so you might want to sit back sometimes. Just a thought.:wink:

As for how long it took me to get a hang of it, I've had it from day 1, so I was on the same learning curve as everyone else then. Now...forget about it! It's going to be a lot tougher.:eek:

try playing single player on easy for a little bit, get used to the controls, then once you've learned the basics, go play on Live and watch how others play. a lot of what ive learned is from watching others. watch the "don't do this" people as they run into the wide open and get blown away, and watch the "follow me" people who play the game good and sneak around, and don't move until they know its safe.

time wise, i think it took me about a week of non-stop playing to know my way around GR

I think flood hit it right there. This isn't Quake or Unreal. Unless you're playing with unlimited respawns, which most people don't do, you can't just go running all over the place trying to get as many kills as you can regardless of how many times you die. It's all about moving from cover to concealment to cover without being seen. It takes a little time. I definitely recommend playing through a few missions on the campaign. Not only will it get you on the way to unlocking stuff in your Dossier, it will also help you get the hang of things. You might also try playing some co-op games on XBL. That is where most of the guys I play with started out. Feel free to join up with us anytime tho. As long as we're not in some kind of clan match, we'll be happy to show you around some. :cheers:

neway, it took me a good full week to get use to the game. when u get on live for the first time, u'll be like wtf? what should i do? etc. u just gotta know the map very well and play lots of games to be good. damn, flood said pretty much everything very well. listen to him.

it took me about a weekend of nonstop playing to get it down. after that just took a lot o practice to get good. playing with good people really helped me get better in the game.:cheers:

It took me a couple of missions, at different levels of difficulties, to get the hang of things. The missions helped with my aim, and playing with other people on Live helped me to become more aware of my surroundings. :watchout:

Took me about a day lol, when i first got it i got in a server with rude,brevity, and casper. i think this was the first night the game came out. But i got better overtime. And as rude said, attacking isnt for everyone, just chill somewhere and wait, it can get boring but its still playing lol. I can do both depending on the situation

i started with the missions but said screw it and went to xbl and played wit casper and all them and i duno,it just caught on...
