I understand there are three companies that have released software to allow online play of games. Which of these is the easiest to use? I would really love to play Halo online but since it does not support that. I have to look for thrid party solutions. I have seen and even bought XConnect. But it's not very user friendly. Are any other better or worse any feedback abou this is welcome.

Thanks,

Corey

You may want to try the one from gamespy. I think it's called Xbox Tunnel or something. I haven't tried it though. You can find it somewhere on Gamespy.com if you didn't know.

or just buy Xbox live, enjoy the great games that are out for it now(Ghost Recon, RTCW next week, 2k3 games, etc..) and then wait patiently until Halo 2 comes out with full Live support.

yeah, you shouldn't have spent your money on XBConnect, the free version works fine, and you could have used that money towards Live. I have tried gamespy and XBConnect, and I like XBConnect more, but that's just my opinion.

xbconnect is the best way to go IMO.

Out of gamespy and xboxconnect. I have to say xboxconnect is the better of the two. But since I have had live since last Sept. I havent even touched xboxconnect and just recently deleted it from my puter.

I use xbconnect. Connection isnt always good, but when it is, halo is beyond fun.

You need to install Gamespy arcade and Xbox Tunnel from gamespy. And i heard Halo online is REALLY laggy.

yea use gamespy, i like them the most even tho xbcon has a bigger fan base, but i think gamespy is easier and more stable until xbcon 3.0
