Q's for GR veterans...

I've been playing the sh*t out of this offline lately, just so I can improve my online skills.

I've completed the game on Recruit and Veteran (not ready for Elite just yet), but I have a couple questions..

These are probably answered in the manual, but I can't find the damn thing. :D

1: Whats the deal with the points system? After each campaign, your soldiers are awarded points... but I don't know the criteria for awarding the points is.

2: These points can be applied to 4 areas of your soldier. W, S, E, and L I think. WHat the heck are these attributes?

3: I failed at several "special operations", so I am missling 3 or 4 unlockables. Do I have to start over from the very beginning to get these or what? I tried playing through a Quick Mission, but it doesnt award me the unlockables.

4: After completing the game on Recruit, you are awarded a new map. Strong Hold I believe. How can I find this map? It's not selectable in Quick Mission. Is that just a multiplayer map?

1 and 2 .I think W=weapons S=strength E=endurance L= leadership


3.it depends is it a unlockable person? but if its one of the things that can only be unlocked on campaign then u gotta wait till the next campaign to unlock him...unless its possble to unlock on quick mission it should say in the dossier


4.the maps just for mutiplayer and xbl.

1) i think the point system improves ur soldier to a kigher ranked. but if u dont want to do it manuallly, go to settings and change it to automatically.

3) hate to say it, yes u have to start over to get the unlockables. i too hated that when i found out that i didnt completed 4 special objectives. i was ****ed and had to start over. my advice to make sure this dosnet happen again. make several profiles so u can save ut missions on differnet profiles so u wont have to go back and do it all over again if u save everything on one profile.

4)i believe it is only multiplayer map for online. but im not sure, i havent played muliplater offline bc i only play online.

For #3, the unlockables, if I remember correctly, if you play through on elite, you have to complete the special objective to successfully complete the mission, right? I think that it's that way, but I may be mistaken and don't have the game right in front of me. Of courese, if you do't want to play through on elite, then like the other guys said, play one of the other campaigns.

Yeah and for every three points of leadership that the team member with the highest points in leadership has, every other team member recieves one extra point, to what atribute I don't know.

And you earn the combat points for every succesful mission that soldier has lived through.

I was under the impression that for every 3 points the leader has it raises each category 1 for each team member.

If not that, I guess it would make sense to build up their strongest attribute. Maybe I'll pull out the ol' gr manual today.

Prolly like that, I'm not sure I just glanced real quick at that part to see what the letters stood for.

unlock weapons? what? And how do you complete all 50 tasks? I have already beat the game on the normal setting and unlocked all the extra guys but it says only 13 of 50 completed. how do i complete them all and what do i get?

Go to select dossier, view dossier or something..it tells u everythin u gotta do..like quick missions and stuff

ive completed a few quick missions already, some on recruit and some on Vet. It doesnt ask to save or anything after im done tho. Ill try it anyway.

I finally found them and completed a few last night. And i must say, the ones where u have to play firefight on elite with just a sniper, are mad hard.
