The ability to just sit there and talk is something that the beta testers were loving after games of NFL 2k3. It's definetly a plus that they're implementing that.:cheers:

One thing I hope they put in it is the ability to send a voice message to some1 already in a game, especially with an invite, so i can further entice some1 to join my room, maybe tell them that evry1 is here, or that i found an awesome server etc.

That might eat up more bandwidth than MS is willing to sacrifice, but you never know.:huh:

wait. Why would you need XBL to do that? You wouldn't. All you need is your xbox on the same network as your computer.

UNLESS... they have another (hidden agenda) reason.

And what do you think the likelihood of two people half way across the globe would be on the same network? I'd say slim to none, but hey, that' just logic talking.:eek:

maybe instead of a monthly fee,we will have to buy a new version every year!

Powerslave brings up a good point. . . My question is along the same line, does MS plan on making it an upgrade available as Downloadable content or should I go out and try to find a StarterKit with v2.0 on the side? Perhaps I'll wait a little longer until I see one in the store. (Cost+Conversion to Cnd$+Shipping = too much from EBgames)

If I can find a link I'll edit this post, but I'm 90% sure that I've read that it will be downloadable for current customers. (Might even be in the article posted, haven't read it for a few days.)

Well in re-reading the biz.yahoo story they say it has the ability to do so... doesn't ness. mean the v2.0 will be... *hrmph* Guess I'll wait til E3 is over to double check that. . .

That would be so bad ass to stream video to your XBox and watch it on my HDTV. Oh man...also, stream music from my computer to my XBox's hard-drive.

Since I was to lazy to actually search and my phone was right there.............................


basically a rep told me it would be an automatic download. At first he wouldn't give me a straight answer, but eventually said that in all likelihood it would be.

Take that for what it's worth, but it's really the only answer that makes sense to me.
