Help with connection!

Hi guys,
I have a cable pluged into my computer right now and i don't have a second NIC for my live, i don't want to pay $70 for a router and i don't know if i need to buy another nic for my xbox. On my audigy i have a IEEE port, and in my network place it work as a internet sharing port. I was wondering if there is a way to use the IEEE port and connect to my xbox so i don't have to buy another nic? Oh ya and I tried xbox live chat support, he said he doesn't really know about it:( . so please help!

Why not just unplug the cable from your comp and stick it in teh xbox for now till you decide what to do.

I dont think you'll find a IEEE >>> Ethernet converter....but what do I know...

I would just bite the bullet and get a router...but thats me.

I also would suggest a router. Check around on the internet. You will be surprised, you should be able to get a decent dsl/cable router for around $40 - $50. Now that wireless is the big deal, corded ones are cheaper. Try amazon first.

Router Schmouter. But an inexpensive 4 port hub. (provided you have an additional IP addy to spare)
