I'll probably spend aroung 1G also. The console, 3 controllers, 2 mem cards, remote, games, and a few DVD's.

I'm actually trying to get a part-time job at Best Buy to get the discount and use that part-time money to save up for the XBox.

I'll more than likely spend around $600 or so. Maybe more ;)

Parents will be buying the Xbox and I'll be buying everything else.

I'll have $2200.00. I'll be spending an estimate of $1670.00 AUS on:

X-box
3 extra controllers
Halo
Munch
Bloodwake
3 other games
DVD remote

and I might get some US DVD's.

Im looking at around $630 bucks, so far, but the more money I save up then the more games I get to, I got DVD's already so no need to get them, and Chirstmas is coming out one month after the Xbox so I will get alot of games then to.

Well, the Best Buy discount plan fell through. But, my price has increased considering there are more games I want to buy.

Hmmm... After all my recent PC upgrades, including a GF3 card, I'm wondering what I'm willing to pay for this thing. I have the great Dreamcast (wiping a tear now...) and have bypassed the PS2 since it mostly lags the DC for games and image quality. And besides, who will have time to play the X-Box at my house with all the PC gaming I do? And between swimming in our new pool, or reading George R.R. Martin, or playing baseball with my kid, who in the world can justify spending even one more dollar on a new video game console?

Okay, okay. I'll spend about $700 on the X-Box I guess, just to get started, and will pre-order as usual. It will get some initial use, then life will take over and it will end up gathering dust, only to come out when guests are over who want to play it. Just like my Dreamcast.

But it will rock. Totally worth it! :)
