Hunter gets boring real fast. The hack n' slash things gets dry after awhile.

I heard the Thing was crap, Max Payne WAS good, WAS till i beat it. Hunter, id avoid that just cuz of the way it looks. Id go with Onimusha.

I'd go with Max Payne or Silent Hill 2. Max Payne is too short, but the gameplay is cool. Silent Hill 2 has a great theme to it, plus the story is great aswell. But some don't like the control style to Silent Hill 2, because of its similar style to Resident Evil type controls.

It's really up to you man. All those are great games, except for Hunter. I just hate that game, but that's just me.

Max Payne. I Wish I never traded that game in. I beat it 3 times. I still get some bullet-time cravings!!! I guess i'll have to buy it again now that it's a platinum hit.

The Thing is pretty cool, I thought it was rather difficult to get the hang of however, and it had alot of bugs IMO, I have only had it for the PS2 :o heh..

Max Payne is a classic, and a definite must have for any fan of this genre.

Genma, I dunno, it's ok.

I would stay away from Silent Hill anything. I just didn't like this series of games, mainly I hated the controls!

Of the games listed Hunter is my fave, if I could only buy one of those games it would definately be Hunter.

Genma Onimusha- i thought it was a pretty fun game even though i only got half way through it

The Thing- this game was ok, i would rent it before you buy it

Max Payne- Never played this game but i heard it was good

Silent Hill 2- I don't like this game at all.

id be a toss up between Max Payne and Genma Onimusha. I love the onimusha series...and i havn't played genme, but i here its jst a port of onimusha warlords from PS2 which i beat.

Onimusha is a great fun game specially if your into samurai and whatnot and its got a great story. Voice acting is crappy, but thats true for most games. As far as max payne goes is alot of fun, lurching at someing in slow motion while pumping them with bullets from you akimbo berattas, priceless.

All depends wheter you want a violent actoin/adventure game wiht guns and slowmo, or sword and demos :D

Max Payne is the best one but there is no replay value because no multi player bit it is kick ass game
