New Mechassault DLC comments

Well I played a round and it seems pretty good. Capture the flag is solid. The Hel-lBringer mech seems like a very welcome addition. As well the maps seem prety well laid out. I also like the new voice recognition thing, where when you talk it says your name on your llies screens. Now you don't have to guess at who is talking. The only thing I am wondering about is, where is the lobby? I was spit out just like before.

You are never "spit" unless the host chooses to "spit" you out.

You are always brought into the same room and the host selects the map and then you guys play again.

so it's all up to the host. If he doesn't want to re-host another game, then you guys are all dropped, but as long as he continues to host........ you are brought back into the same room at the end of each game.

I think it adds more depth into the game. It's a great addition to mechassault, i just downloaded everything. The loki is one hell-of-a mech. If you get all of the upgrades for the weapons it rocks. i think ctf is fun as hell. This will definitly make my mechassault experience alot funner. :cheers:

I was the host. After the match I was put into the regular room at the end and then I clicked a. After hitting a I lost the connection to everyone else, could not hear anything they said. I had the ability to choose all the options over again. Just like when you hosted before.

Well me and Cooler played some yesterday and it was fun enough that I decided to re-get this game. I had it then sold it and now plan to get it again. I liked it well enough. Though I do wish they would tweek the point system on it a little and open all maps up for CTF, that or make more CTF maps.

I like the CTF addition, the new mechs are decent, haven't given them much play-time though. I was hoping it would be more strategic than it is, but it has gotten me back into the game.

Tis bro. It's a little weird the way they did it... confusing at first. But it does work. I played the other night with 7 other guys for several hours. We had good teams going and just kept it rolling. Was a damn good time.

Check it out for sure and put in a little time before you lay down judgement.

More online games need CTF. Halo CTF is some of the most fun I've had playing games.

One other note: There seems to be a little bug with Optimatch. It takes sometimes 60 seconds before any matches show up. Be patient.

what do you expect when you guys diss me all the time for owning Mechassault?

It's obvious you don't like the game, so no matter how many features it gets, the premise is still the same.

If you hated the game then, you will hate it just as much now.....

Although it's great to finally have a lobby, reall talk icons and capture the flag......

but for someone who doesn't like the game, that won't mean much.

LOOONG story. But, I had a friend come over, and he turned on my modchip w/out telling me (i had a switch installed) well I went to connect and check for downloads. BAM I couldnt connect, then it went throught the trouble shooter. Everything was fine except for "Xbox Live Cannot Be Found." I tried like 30 tims to connect but no luck. Thats how it happened.

all u gotta do is call them and tell them u can't connect.

let them fix the problem........

it doesn't seem like they found out...... the modchip screwed it up, but call them and see what you can get out of it.

Well since the IP of my xbox is banned and I cant get a new eeprom I'm screwed for now. The mod chip changes the bios of the xbox and thats what was detected.
