The HeadCOM Headset has a lightweight, ergonomic design that allows comfortable play for any sized gamer. Just plug it into the Xbox Communicator and you are ready to talk the talk. Features an earpiece and microphone, which provide clear transmissions of voice and sounds no matter how far away your opponent lives.

It appears that the 3rd party developers are in it now

Rudedog gave a lil review of this in the live area.

I sure did!

My Review (http://www.xboxaddict.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36579)

I actually have no problems with it, and it costs 5 bucks as opposed to how much you would pay for the regulars or other generic ones (that don't work right).

Thanks for posting that pic btw, I was searching for one.

Wow, it's about damn time someone came along and cashed in on this. People have been begging for an easier way to replace shoddy headsets, and 5 dollars is a price you can't beat.

Looks pretty cool, but I would never buy anything that isn't straight from microsoft. I don't really trust third party equipment.

Normally I like to stay first party too... but in this case, you have a product with a speaker and a microphone, which won't wear out from use like buttons and joysticks do.

Yes, that's true. But still, third party stuff can still be faulty, or just plain not work as good.

I completely agree...but, if you think about it, $5 isn't much to set a guy like me back if I needed a replacement headset :)

I see your point. I might do it just to have a backup, but if I was really desperate for a headset, I would spend the extra to get the good one.

But think of what you can do with that extra 15 bucks!

I hear prostitutes are selling well for that price...

Read the thread I posted. It gives a good review, and even has someone arguing that same point. Someone suggested that it causes echos...Never heard yet from mine, and as I said in there, in some cases...3rd party is just as good if not better than 1st. My 3rd party controller lasted much longer than my original 1st for instance.
