I was recently looking over the Soul Calibur 2 page and was reading a few bios of the characters. Then this question came into my head:

Why is it that in most fighting games (and RPGs too if you want to expand) that the females in the game average around 14-18 years old and the men are at least 25?

I have nothing against the developers of these games, but does anyone in any way feel it is wrong that we are controlling 15 year old girls (like Talim) who fight men 10 years older than who are drawn in sexy mannerisms and move around in skimpy outfits?

Sex appeal, easy as that.

Most guys would rather play a 18 year old girl with panties showing and boobs flopping around, rather than an older woman whos abit saggy :P

I never found that to be true. Even in your example it doesnt' make any sense, since Ivy is 32, Taki is 29, and X is 20. Talim is the youngest in the game at 15, but the rest of the ages are spread out nicely.
