I have been trying to figure this out for a while now and have yet to get a precise and posotive answer.

Is the XBOX a TRUE force feedback enabled system ?

I know PS2 is, and I cant imagine MS dropping the ball here, but is it?

I am not talking about an upcoming wheel with different vibration features...I mean true force feedback like a computer or arcade wheel. You feel the road fighting you when turning, and when another car hits you its felt as it should be, not just vibration.

A new steering wheel would be an awesome addition to my collection, but only if its forcefeedback capable !!!

I don't have a wheel yet...it would be cool. Look at some of the reviews before buying one. I'm not sure if there are reviews here, yet...but, there will be soon, if that's the case. Or you can check it out elsewhere.

I believe all the DLLs (code libraries) are stored on the game DVDs. This means that if the developer chooses to use force feedback the XBOX will be capable of generating it. I don't think force feedback was ever part of the DirectX library.
