S.o.f Lag?

Can anyone tell me if this game lags like R.T.C.W.

There's always gonna be lag. Unless you can find a really good server with a good connection. Same goes for RTCW. But don't listen to me, i'm stupid. :watchout:

I have had almost no lag issues. There's been a game or two, and you do get a little bump when someone initially joins in some servers, but nothing compared to gr or rtcw.

thanks...that was the answer i was looking for...i do not want to screw around looking for good servers...microsoft has a broadband only network and i should be able to just plug and play without worrying whether it is a good server....rtcw is a great game but only once in a while...it is hit or miss with that game.

yup ive only been in like 2 games with lag,this game does pretty good with lag issues like people even with kinda crappy connections can host a good 10 on this game...hell i can only hold 6 on rtcw and i can hold 12 on this game..

I can host 10 with no lag, its just my damn connection is *** cuz it loses the DNS Numbers every now and then. Basically it gives out because stupid ass comcast has sold Cable internet to too many people and they cant handle it. But other than that, I can handle 10, no problem.

Its an alright game, I bought it on tuesday and I have only played it for about an hour...I just played RTCW again and played horrible...guess thats what 3 days away does to me...

You have to find someone with a good server. I can host 16 on my server without a problem...especially if they are all on or near the west coast...and, all around the world, I can host 12, regardless of location.

But, to me..."the more the better" is a myth. Personally, I like about 3 v 3, 4 v 4, or 5 v 5 the best. 16 can be overwhelming.

thats true, but luckily the max for SOF is 12.
