"Private" slots when hosting 'live game....

When u host a game on xbox live, there are two distint variables u can set:

Public slots.
Private slots.

This implies that local xboxen can connect to a game you are makign visible thru xbox live.

Does this actualyl work? And if not, WTF is that 'private slots' variable for ?

Public is for any live user to use. If they come across your game they can join.

Private is for friends. Set a private slot for a freind that is coming to join, that way you know he will be able to join.
