Too bad when you are online you cant put it so that people can only drive the cars they've unlocked. That would make it a whole lot more enjoyable for those who have already unlocked the cars. The cars are easy to unlock. the cooper mini on all blitzes and the FLE on all checkpoints. wouldn;t be that hard. maybe take a day. its kind of boring when everybody in the room is the CC even though 90% of them haven't unlocked them. pretty annoying. plus you get to show off your paint jopbs, alsways a plus. ;)

Nah, it means you can get right in the action and not worry about unlocking all the cars if you're competing online.

MC2 had that and all it meant was peopel used the cheat so they could play all the cars online

but even with the mc2 cheat, you still have to complete all of the races and arcade mode to get the cars. so when someone pull sup in a torque, at least they know the maps and are familiar with the game. it's like a forced orientation.

MotoGP did it the best. They made you build your bike and unlock the tracks before you could use any high powered bikes or tracks online. If ya wanted to race online immediately, that was fine, but you had to be ready to get toasted by the custom bikes. And the cheats did NOT work for anyone online. Thats the way a game should be.

that sounds pretty cool CrazyCougar. Making your own bike and rider is a very awsome thing. Too bad no car racing game gives you that much flexibility. That'd be awsome. You could have a car, give it a custom paint job and color scheme.

I like it the way it is. It also adds some balance.

Like you need to have skill to race. It's all fun tho anyway, I don't know many people that play hard to win, we all just have a laugh.

Suggestion - maybe, if you wanna go serious and play somebody that know the maps, you look for the expert games and not the beginner games?
