How do I change my consoles name name in halo?

I would like to change the name of my xbox as when im doing a system link with halo its called wesel. My mates was called Carlos untill a few days ago when it became his name TIMMY D, he has no idea how it changed. Can anyone shed some light on it?
Small gripe I know but it would be nice to change it.

One of the dead or alive games I think 3, allows u to change xbox name. Im pretty sure thats right but yes u can change its name. Hope this helps.:)

Yeah, mine's was Darling, then it just changed to MICHAEL, all of a sudden. I don't even know anyone named michael! ! ! !

I don't even know my xbox's real name and now it is 8 somehow it changed to 8 from a name i put in.

from what i have read in a magazine the xbox's name is determened on the game saves on ur xbox. mine is named quick save and im guessing it is cos i have alot of quick save's on my xbox.

btw i have a friend and his is called donut lol

This is a wierd disscussion cause my brother and me have been disscusin this for months. Ok the rtcw works if you make a profile on it i have no clue how it does it just does. And its freggin hilarious cause my brother has a profile named neo on rtcw and right when the matrix reloaded came out the x-box was named neo for 2 months. I like it when video game companies do stuff like that. I didnt think anyone else payed any atention to the x-box name and rtcw.
