Help! What Games Should I Get!

Hi. My B-Day is coming in 2 weeks and I hink im probably gonna get an Xbox or Ps2.

Question: Which should I get?

Ok, say I get an Xbox. What are some good games to get. Like Single and Multiplayer. (I dont like sports games) lol

ok. Only bad hting about halo is no Xbox Live.
So Ill porbably get Unreal Championship if its good.

I thought Halo had Live capablities ... Im getting my Xbox in a couple days so Halo is a must for my Xbox Library :)

halo sort of has life capabilities. u can play halo through system link at xbconnect.com wiht other ppl.

dude, just so you don't change your mind...xbox has much more to offer now and in the future with all the great titles coming out in the next year or two...get xbox!!! We get some great titles that even the pc doesn't get coming up!!!!!

Oh, definately get starwars: knights of the old republic. It's one of the best rpg's I've ever played and nearly everyone that ownz it here can agree with me, it's rating 9.1 even at gamespot!!! 9.5 at ign I think...KOTOR is a must buy...been playing it all day today.

I think xbox would be your best choice. First, even though ps2 comes with broadband cool stuff, but Xbox is built in :D. Anyways, get halo, kotor, and if you have live, get wolfenstein and ghost recon.

def. get xbox. u know why? all the best games such as halo 2, half-life 2, counterstrike, rainbow 6, ghost recon island thunder, pgr 2, and tons of more are coming out. xbox has the best online gaming community and technology. its just 10 times better than ps2 to me.

also i cant decide if i should buy a mod chip called
Xecutor2.2 LITE so i can back up games when i rent them instead of buying them. lol. After a while it adds up and kinda pays fro itself. It cost liek 40 bucks.

Oh,..if you get a mod chip, you can't go on Xbox Live, because they sense them as soon as you sign on, then ban your IP from XBL.

Don't talk about mod chips anymore though, or the thread will get closed.

The main reason I'd get an Xbox right now is because it owns PS2 and Gamecube in online (IMO) and shooters. Plus, you said you don't like sports. The only reason I'd see someone that doesn't like sports getting a PS2 is because they really like RPGs..but KOTOR is seems good enough to hold you over for a while..anyway. Maybe another reason is GTA:VC..well, that's on PC, and *rumored* to be on Xbox this holiday season.

or is there a b etter xbox or somewhere that hasmore gb in it.
i thought it was only illegal to sell the chips. Tech TV on satelite was showing how to do it.

u can buy 2 xboxes. one to be modded or whatever u want to do with it.

Unreal Championship?? Are you out of your mind? That game's terrible. Besides, your not getting XBL with your XBox, right? So it's pretty bland without it.

As for Midnight Club 2, I haven't played it yet. So no judgement call there.

are u out of your mind?? the game is good. even for a price of 24.99$. its a good multiplayer game and i had a balst with it by myself playing with bots while i was waiting for broadband.

all games are xbox exclusive as well as XBOX LIVE playable.
