Help!!

Hey guys...i'm new to this forum and the xbox. I don't get it until Xmas. That really sucks but I have a question for you.
Is it possible to hook up 2 speakers and a sub to my xbox that came with a computer I got? I don't have the cash for a surround sound system right now and was wondering if this would even work? What would be the best setup if this is possible? Has anyone done this yet or just my dumbass? Thanks for the help guys.:confused:

unless its a really high end system (creative labe 3500DDT for example) with optical in, you cant.

u are gonna need to buy the reciever if u really want dolby... and if u are gonna do that might as well buy a new speaker setup that is made for a tv... 4 or more preferrably :D
