Appaloosa Interactive, the same company who made Ecco the Dolphin, is giving you the chance to venture deep into the ocean again but this time it’s not about saving the world. In fact, it's you against it. Featuring beautiful underwater locations, 'Sole Predator' combines high-speed action and combat in a truly unique fashion, with two game types to play through: Search & Destroy and Frenzy. One of the coolest features is the Shark Vision ability, which lets you see your victims before they know you are coming and thanks to a dismemberment engine that provides 64 points of disconnection, you can annihilate your victims piece by piece.

Looks interesting enough, and so much cooler than Ecco. The best thing is ... it'll be on Live! so you can chow down on surfers w/ your buddies!

That site isn't working for me. But judging by what you wrote, sounds pretty cool so far. Doubt I would buy it, but maybe rent.

Huh, it works for me. Anyway, I don't know if I'd buy it, but I do have to say I love the idea. It's very innovative, and with all the cookie-cutter games plaguing consoles now (Oooh! Another FPS!) it's just nice to see some studios are still coming up with interesting alternatives.

Looks cool. Not sure if it will be a rental or a buyer but I will try it out for sure.

Hey! .... But- .... What?

I was just trying to share the info, man. Saw an interesting tidbit on a game I'd never heard of, and thought I'd share it with others. And btw, without other Xbox sites, how would we know we were visiting the best one out there?

 :D

First, welcome to the best Xbox site in the Milky Way!

Now, as far as 'Sole Predator'....talk about fun. I mean, you get to be a GREAT WHITE!

How fuggin' cool is that? Maybe I'm showing my more geekish colors here, but that shot of the Great White launching outta the water sold me. It's a little sad it's gonna be on the PS2, but my hope is they'll beef up the gfx.

Either way, this one is on my 'must have' list just 'cuz you get to be a GREAT WHITE!!! :yikes: :watchout:

And it's gonna be on Live!.

Read this Q & A (http://www.consolegold.com/interviews/solepredator/solepredator.shtml) 'bout 'Sole Predator'.

Also, here is the official site (http://zeus.appaloosacorp.com/solepredator/) for the game.

cool, the screens look nice. But wouldnt a game with this premise get old pretty quickly? How much variety is there in swimming around and dismembering people who can't see you?
