Oh my god.... this is possibly one of the best 2D to 3D ports I have ever seen in my life! If this game truely plays like NBA Jam and NBA Jam TE, I will buy it.

I am f*cking tired of everyone stealing that song from Master P. First Bow Wow did and now this. But the game looks tight

Ahh, I remember NBA Jam on the snes and genesis. Man those were great games. Probably the first to have a detailed charcter editor. And the dunks!

This might be the first ever basketball game I buy!

You guys know who is doing the commentary on this new version? I hope it is once again Kevin Colabro who did the first one. By the way, he is the commentator, even still, for the Seattle Super Sonics, my home team :D He's so awesome to listen to!

Max, check the map, you don't live in seattle, so it isn't your home team. You need to be rooting for whatever high school team is from your area :p

As for the announcer, I always thought he sounded like the **** Vermille (sp?) of basketball.

Master P wasn't the original performer for that song. In fact it sounds like the song playing during that trailer has the original vocals. It's a song from the 70's or early 80's i believe.

Will be interesting to see how it operates as a 3 on 3 games, rather than the original 2 on 2....

I had Jam TE back on the SNES and that game was a blast to play. Too bad EA is *** and won't put XBL in.

Dude! I didn't even know he did the commentary on the original! No wonder the calls were so great. :D

Sonics = my home team, too.

Commentary by Tim Kitzrow, the original voice of NBA JAM.

sorry to burst your bubble Max

and to those who are wondering if it's going to be on Live....i thought i heard somewhere that it is...but i haven't found any concrete evidence confirming.

When I think of NBA Jam, I always think of the announcer: "Baseline Weiner!". Except he was really saying Baseline Leader. Whatever, I had good laughs at that.
This definitely looks more fun than NBA Street, but seeing how I only played Street for like 10 minutes, I can't be certain. ;)
It's one of two basketball games I'll be keeping my eye on anyway.

I think it was "baseline leaner." :p
