Just a few minutes ago I borrowed a CD from my friend so I could rip it to my Xbox.So I put it in and start rippin' and like 1/3 of the way I get a prompt that says "Unable to copy. The problem may be you do not have enough hard disk space."What in the hell!? What should I do.Thanks in advance:cry:

Well how many songs do you have? I think you only get 2 gigs for songs.

That is probably more than the partition that you are allowed to store music on. That might be why. It has to save some space for running games and saves, too.

It is true. I read (a long time ago.. way back in the day) that there is a partition devoted for music tracks, a partition for XBL files, and a seperate partition for your game saves. You get the idea. Of course the music section is smaller to devote more room for the actual gaming experience.

So it's time to ditch some songs if you can't fit what you want on there.

I stream only 18 songs in my Xbox, don't want to get it filled with mp3 in there. Want to play games not use it for music storage. :o

Mine never allows me to copy the whole CD in one try, I have to do like 1-3 at a time, but other than that it works fine.

i have like 22 cds on there but i left out a couple songs that blowed and left the good stuff. Hey does anyone know about the hold the Y button the press X when just listening to music and that little bubble takes over the whole screen with a bunch of colors and stuff that go to the musics speed. I liked it but it gets sort of old fast.

I've ripped 20-something cd's, all of at least 12 tracks, some with as many as 60. All my cd's have ripped first try.
But it sounds like the 2gig music partition is what's going on.
