Yes Maxy - this should be a download - they aren't going to send out new disks to all their customers - especially since we all have broadband.

Dam, I've been waiting for this since e3 - another great feature, just hope it doesn't have any bugs and is properlly tested.

What are you talking about? The topic of this thread says Xbox Live 2.0!?!?! The new dashboard with cool features/XSN is XBL 2.0 that is coming August 25/26.

Am I the only one that thinks this is a rather minor update? I thought Live 2.0 was going to incorporate game invites on MSN and a heck of alot of other stuff. I mean, this is just a dash update and a new phone service.

Nowhere in the article was a mentioning of XBL 2.0. You see, what I am trying to do is verify if this is 2.0 or not because it has been stated that 2.0 will have features that are not mentioned in this article.

Actaully, the Xbox Music Mixer is one of the components that will be featured in Xbox Live 2.0, I guess this is a mere dashboard upgrade. Still good!

I think I read somewhere that the Live update wont come out all at once, so we would get the updates over time, so this could just be the first of a few, so like MH said, the rest could come

Music Mixer is completely seperate from Xbox Live 1 or 2. It's a game that you'll need to pruchase for $39-49. I am not positive, but I think MSN/Cell phone invites, online buddy lists, etc. are all coming on August 25th even though it doesn't specifically mention it in that article. I don't think Microsoft has been spending ~9 months just making a new dashboard with the same features (except now slightly more accessible to Live users). XSN is what I am most anticipating anyway.
