Um, how do you have your xbox connected to your wireless network? You need a linksys wet11 wireless ethernet bridge to connect an xbox to a wireless network. I think you can also set up a wirelessly connected laptop as a bridge through which you can connect the xbox, but i have no idea how to do that. When you say wireless laptop, do you mean you plugged your xbox into the laptop, or your router is connected to your laptop?

Did you check to see if your Router is on this list?

Maybe you should check to see if there's a firmware update.

I know you need to go to network connections or something and create a bridge between your router connection and the card that is connected to the xbox via a cat5 cable. Then i think it forwards the connection to that card and allows you to connect the xbox. Im not entirely sure though, you may want to search google.

i Just talked to my firend that works at a computer store and he said that there is some sort of a wireless ethernet thing that is supposedly designed directly for the xbox so i'm gonna look into that. i hope it's a good lead :):)

yeah, i have it. The wet11 wireless ethernet bridge made by linksys. There is also something else coming out made specifically for the xbox, but i dont think its out yet. The wet11 works great (for me at least) and i think its 90 bucks, but maybe there's been a price drop.

hi guys, i have a dlink dwl-900AP+ which is a wireless access point and works great on my xbox and ps2 online with no more lag than a wired connection. the ping to my pc which is wired is 1, and the ping to my wireless adapter is 2, so as any of you who know a little bit about networking and games 2ms is jack **** and will not affect ur game play
