Bathed in fluorescent green light, dozens of kids and adults are bombarded with pulsing music, explosions, kung fu fighting, spaceships, laser beams, race cars, footballs and everything else imaginable in the Xbox Odyssey exhibition at MontanaFair.

The large gray bubble near the midway contains 52 game consoles where anyone can play about 40 different games for free. The games range from the action movie genre, to fighting, to sports, to the surreal. The Hulk, Spiderman and Finding Nemo seemed to be crowd favorites Wednesday. Two of the games are projected onto 12-foot screens where larger-than-life sports figures duke it out.

The event, a giant, inflatable commercial for Xbox manufacturer Microsoft, is new in Billings this year, but its been around for about three years, said tour manager Jerry Leirer. About 4,500 people have made their way through the Odyssey on the average day, he said. The games are free and unlimited, but when there are long lines, they sometimes ask players to keep moving, he said.

The theme park we have here in Vancouver had an arcade that Gamecube paid for (helps sell there products) with a whole bunch of different games and systems and stuff. They held contests and stuff which was cool, but it was all Gamecube stuff. Last year I won THPS 3 for winning the Tony Hawk contest. I wish they had an Xbox one there though.
