mine are

#1 project justice-one of the best fighters on the dreamcast.

#2 power stone -power stone 1 & 2 were great games that need to make a come back.

#3 psychic force 2012-the most under rated dreamcast fighter out there.

#4 earth worm jim-one of the best 2d adventure games on the super nintendo

these four games deserve to be remade and would they would help the x box in two areas a lot of people complain abot. so what are you games you would like to see remade.

That's a good question. I wouldn't mind Balloon Fight, from the old school NES. Or maybe, Killer Instinct from SNES. None of that gold stuff that 64 produced. It was nice, don't get me wrong. I would much rather appreciate the original.

Well, Killer Instinct should be a great fighting to own if there are sequel coming.

By the way, i want to know if there are are news about Blood ? :p

the only reason i got kung fu chaos is because it is the closest thing to powerstone, i loved powerstone, only reason i was thinking about getting another dreamcast, but kung fu chaos is good enough... maybe we could start one of those online petition things for a powerstone 3 on xbox and have everyone sign it online, bring awareness that there are a hell of a lot of fans that would buy it...

'Adventure' from the Atari 2600. :p

Kidding. The Midway Treasures compilation that is coming out will do me fine as far as oldies for quite some time. Personally, I'd like to see some truly original games come out. Props to the dev. studio that can do something absolutely groundbreaking and bring it to the Xbox.

A complete final fantasy set. With every game re-done with xbox graphics :D

It could be maybe a 6 disc set, with 1,2 on one disc, 3 and 4 on one, (i think 5 and 6 were the same as 2 and 3?) then tactics and 7 on one, then 8on one, and 9 on one, then 10 on one.

Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness from the Sega Saturn. That's still my mostest favoritest game ever. With XBox graphics it would own all. Hell, even a direct port would satisfy me.

But that FF idea sounds pretty tight as well.......

Wow, this thread is bringing back some dusty memories of yesteryear. :p

And rude, I had forgotten all about Super Dodge Ball. Graphically, it reminded me of that fighting game...you fought various street gangs and bought stuff like Spicy Noodles or Broccoli Beef to regain health and such. WTF was the name of that game?

Good news! Midway's putting out an arcade hits collection (http://www.xboxaddict.com/products/profile/product.php?Product_ID=741) for Xbox (and those other two) with Smash TV as well as (in no particular order):

Spy Hunter
Defender II
Gauntlet
Joust
Paperboy
Rampage
Marble Madness
Robotron: 2084
Joust 2
Bubbles
RoadBlasters
Blaster
Rampart
Sinistar
Super Sprint
720°
Toobin
Klax
SPLAT!
Satan's Hollow
Vindicators

I will definitely buy this collection - there are a bunch of games there I wish I had. With two analog sticks, Smash TV would be awesome for a remake on Xbox, not just a re-release of the original, but I'm happy to even get the original.

In other good news (not the same as if it were on Xbox, but good), Rock N' Roll Racing came out this June for GBA. Gamespot gave it an 8.0 out of 10.

Now when I think of a game I would like to see surface on the xbox platform, one game comes to mind. Im thinking Sega Megadrive: 'Mercs' - Which can only be described as just a Pure, Intense, 2-Dimensional, Legendary experience.

I still shed a tear to this day.

Heheh I wouldn't mind a bit of Altered Beast souped up and ready to go, that game was crazy.

Herzog Zwei: still my favorite RTS because you were'nt just a god in the sky, you actually had a physical representation on the battle field.

Also Bad Dudes: only because I want to prove to the world I'm still a bad enough dude to save the president.

spectre187

all those games are on mame so far mentioned the exact arcade ones, lol...i never got the big deal about altered beast but...

they are making a new polygonal altered beast last i heard, look it up

herzog zwei... i played it for 30 seconds, i heard its great

bad dudes... well what can i say ::screams "I'm bad"

mercs... kick ass game, ur only hope may be to download mame (i know for sure its on there)

and if i may add one to the list... elevator action

You know what I loved about Combat, aside from the graphics (which I remember thinking were amazing back then :yikes: ) was the multiple different types of games you could play. You could play as planes vs. boats, tanks vs. tanks, and a whole lot else. That was a fantastic game for it's time.

Combat, Adventure, and Pitfall were my favorite 2600 games. Played 'em all the time as a kid.

Man, I can even remember the sound effects. That cheesy, low rumbling sound of the tanks, and the pong sounds when you fired. Explosions sounded all crunchy and distorted. I remember when Colecovision (sp?) came out w/ Donkey Kong Jr., I thought I was in heaven. The graphics were, again, amazing for the time. Now I ***** about Enter the Matrix looking shabby, for Christ's sake.

Wonder what it'll be like in another 20 years, gaming that is. Or will all media kind of just be interlaced, somehow. Exciting times, for sure.

And for the love of god...CAN INFOGRAMES MAKE AN OFFICIAL DESTRUCTION DERBY 3?!?!?
