Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know a new Xbox live tourney site is coming soon. The site is under construction currently. I will post the url when the site is up. It will be a ladder tourney site much like what MS offers on their site but it's going to cater more to clans/squads.

a little bit about me:

ive been playing PC games for the last 4 years. i started out in console games but the aspect of playing online made me quit playing on consoles and go just to PC's. i'm 29yrs old, married and i live in seattle. i work at MSFT actually where i do onsite tech support for MS employees. because of the fact i work on the MS campus and am about 2 miles away from where they make all the xbox games, i am shamelessly using my position to get stuff for the site that you won't find anywhere else. stay tuned about that....

currently, i own a tournament site that gets about 4 million hits a month. since i have lost interest in PC games because of Xbox live, i am moving away from that and dedicating myself full time to running what's going to be the best Xbox tourney site around. i've seen some of the ones out there and none of them really impress me so far. i'm sure there are others and if you could list the best ones you know about to me, i'd appreciate it. thanks. i'm on MSN Messenger and my email for that is: blackdeath@deathsquad.st. thanks for your time.

The new nfl fever has tournaments on LIVE, and sends you msg's when your up etc etc too.

XSN is the first attempt at organized tournaments.

the xbox own tourneys are pretty nice but if you are new to a game or whatever, you have to compete w/ the people who have been playing it since day 1. ie: i just started playing GR Island thunder and there are already 30,000 other people playing it. in order to be in the tourney, you have to be like in the top 10 or 25. those are individual too only. i dont think they are doing clan events yet are they?

Don't worry kids, by the end of this week, the DDC's first tournament will be set-up, and as long as you can get together teams of 3 with an alternate, you can play. It doesn't matter how new or old you are at the game.:cheers:
