Sharky Extreme has an article up on
XBox's GPU:

While the GPU is pretty much what NVidia has
claimed, namely fast, I found the info on the
MCPX pretty interesting.

Would be cool if we could run benchmarks, (IE, such as 3dMark and VideoMark) on the XBox and PS2 http://www.xboxaddict.com/ubb/wink.gif
then we'd know the huge difference in speed etc between the systems.

Of course this article is from the lovely time of September 22, 2000. There are some inaccuracies in it that have changed.

I don't think this was the first post ever... isn't this just the oldest post that hasn't been bumped?

06-09-2002, 08:42 PM
yeah, but now this 'oldest post' is now on page 1, and will have to go to page 2 then 3 etc. etc. so the actual oldest post might be on page 50 or something because it was bumped.

oh, and another thing, notice that kevin-XBAs registration date on the forums is september of 2000 (9/2000) so I doubt 10/10/00 will be the first post ever.

ok, im gonna have to draw this out. lets just say that this is the forum:

XXX <--first post
XXX <--last post

now you wrote something in the last post, which bumped it to the top forever

XXX <--former last post
XXX <--former first post
XXX <--new last post

What you 'dug up' was the post that had last to be replied to. If you searched harder you could probably find posts that were made earlier than that, making them older. Like I said, the forums were around at least a month prior to that thread. My guess is someone posted the date the forums were created, They probably didn't idle for a month.
