You need to look for something called a "VGA adapter", such as this one...

"We've been testing and searching for the perfect VGA adapter ever since the Xbox launched, and while we've seen a few that worked, none do the job quite like the X2VGA adaptor."

"...your Xbox will display the same resolutions it can on an HDTV..."

"Colors, resolution, and details pop...the difference is astonishing."

List Price:US$ 84.95 Now Only US$ 64.95!

Hmm... Never considered trying that. But, I dig my 36in TV so I guess that'll go on the back burner.
But playing on a 20 inch monitor at near HDTV? Decisions...

Before you drop the cash on this adapter, i suggest you get one of these first:

The Caps Lock Key seems to be stuck on the one youre using now.

If you want to display 480p, 720p, 1080i on your monitor for the Xbox then yes the X2VGA High Definition VGA Pack is for you but if you want to hook up your Xbox & a progressive scan DVD player to your monitor then I would suggest the Component VGA Box.

As a matter of fact, you did. :watchout:

I think I might get this. The image quality would be awesome, and I have a 21" monitor so size is no problem. It would be easier to carry a monitor than a TV also if you have like a 17". Good stuff. It's still kinda on the expensive side, though. :)

If you have an HDTV that can display 480p or 720p then you will not need that adapter but you will need the progressive scan DVD player. The images look alot better. You dont see artifacts or pixelation. Crisp clean images.

If you dont have an HDTV like me and many others then you can use your monitor. Most modern monitors can display it. You will need to get that adapter at the link. Im going to get one. I ordered some cables from them and waiting on them now. If my order shows up then I will order the adapter next. I bought their Xbox controller to PC usb cords. I want to use my Xbox controller on my PC and it's cheaper than buying a whole new controller.

Sweet!! I've seen a few others but they haven't impressed me too much. I've been wanting one. Since they have a return policy I'll see if this one is any good in about a week or so when it arrives.

Xbox at work...awww yeeeaaaahhhh!!!
