I notice when i play Ghost Recon Island Thunder on XBL, I do get alot of disconnections from the server during the game, and get lag. So i did a speed test on the XBL dashboard, and it told me my UL is 168 while DL is 1591. When i do a speed test on my computer, I get an UL 370 and a DL of 1760. My server UL speed is suppose to 400 with a DL of 1500. Any know any reasons why the connection to XBL is so bad? Is it the Ethernet cable that i used? Thanks

ive also been meaning to ask this question. when i move into my new house the best i can get is 512k down 260k up, the reason being that the telephone exchange has only just got broadband and they need to do further upgrades so u can get a 2megabit line!

How will live run with 260 UL?

hell, I run live on a 100k upload with my ultra crappy DSL. I have no problems connecting and staying connected to games, it just means that I am not going to be hosting 12 player frag fests in Ghost Reocn with explosives.

MS support will admit that the Xbox Speed test is inaccurate, so don't trust it. Trust the PC speed test that you took. You are getting the speeds you are paying for, don't worry.

I have a 2MB/256k connection and Live is perfect for me.
