Free Xbox live??

I recently purchased Star Wars KOTOR, and I was playing through the menus. I got to the menu for downloadable content and pressed it. The game installed Xbox Live on the Xbox. Now on the xbox main menu, it says xbox live, and when you press it, it takes you to a screen that says "Xbox Live cannot connect, please check network connection" or something. Did I get a free copy of Xbox live?

No, you may have got a dashboard update though. You need to signup for a User ID and Password with a credit card in order to actually use Xbox live. Until you do that, you can connect to Xbox Live, but you can't do anything on it.

OXM ususally puts some good LIVE content on their disks for the unfortunet people that dont/cant get live :)

and no....theres no free live..unless you steal it and a CC :P

yeah u didnt get live cuz u have no gamertag it just put it on ur dashboard
