Dolby Digital 5.1???

hey guys i was wondering if thats all you do vis hook up some surround sound speakers to the tv and u have surround sound? is that what u do? if not or so please tell me thanx!@:o

You must have a Dolby Digital Receiver (stereo) with the Front Left, Center, Front Right, Rear Left, Rear Right and a subwoofer to get the true 5.1 surround sound. You connect your XBOX through the AV cord to you receiver and then to your TV.

A TV that supports surround, only splits the sound signal between the speakers to simulate a surround effect.
