Midtown Madness 3... what's it all about?

What's so cool about this game? I wanna know because the only Live Game I have is Ghost Recon: Island Thunder, and while that is LOADS of fun, it's not the only game I wanna be playing all the time.

I heard MM3 is really fun, but what all can you do? Is there capture the flag mode? Is it a better racing game than Midnight Club II? What's the deal?

Hi Amin0. In my opinion, MM3 is the most fun of any Xbox Live game. Now, it's NOT a better racing game than Midnight Club 2. If you're looking for a serious racer, don't get MM3 because you'll be disappointed. MM3 is not a serious racing game. It's a goof, a romp, a fun pick-up-and-play game. Although there IS a regular racing mode (checkpoint) online, the multiplayer modes that really shine are the other ones -- Capture the Gold, Tag, Stayaway, and (especially) Hunter. You can probably figure out what the first few are, so I'll say a little about my favorite, Hunter. Eight players, no lag, one person starts as the cop, and he tries to collide with any of the other seven cars, who are trying to flee. If he does, then THAT car turns into a police car and joins the chase. There are now two "hunters" and six "prey." And so it goes, with the police force steadily growing and the number of "bad guys" steadily shrinking. It's a lot of fun, especially if you find a server that is set up right (options for size of the area and type of car need to be set right). I recommend a buy, but at the very least a rental.
