For XBox Live - NFL Fever vs ESPN NFL?

With all the hoopla about XSN Sports for XBox Live being generated by MS, I'm wondering if its worth the trade off to buy NFL Fever instead of ESPN NFL? I've never played football on Live but think it'll be a blast. The early reviews are saying there's no contest when comparing the games - that ESPN is far superior to Fever and argueably better than Madden.

So bottom line, has anyone played both online enough yet to give me your thoughts? My primary interest is the online experience, not the "first person view" or "the crib" features in ESPN or even superior graphics.

espn is so much more fun..gameplay wise it's a lot better at least

ESPN for sure. Fever can't even be compared to 2k4 gameplay wise. Sure XSN is awesome but it doesnt support a good game. I would go with 2k4.

My ISP has been down since last Friday, and this game was the only thing that kept me non insane for about 4 days. This game is sooo much fun. The gameplay is by far the best I have ever seen for a football game hands down. Great game. I haven't played Fever, so I can't compare, but ESPN is EXCELLENT.

I played my first online game in 2K4 last night and had my tail whooped! BUT it was the most fun I've ever had getting the snot beat out of me.lol
The only drawback to ESPN online vs Fever is ESPN doesnt have the leagues on Xbox like the XSN thing does. They have leagues on the PS2 for ESPN, but not Xbox and the word is its because Fever is Microsoft's baby and they want to give it every advantage they can to be "The" football game on Xbox.

It's satisfying when you finally beat the raiders on all pro mode and then go check out your crib. Call me wierd, but why is decorating your crib in this damn game so much fun? LOL

I am amazed every time I look at the player movements in this game, and always seem to see something new that I hadn't noticed before.

I only wish the cheerleaders looked better. they are kind of freaky to me. LOL
