What is the best looking system of all time? The worst?

In my opinion, my favorite looking system is the xbox. Black with a brite lime green. the second best is Ps2. the worst is game cube. A big akward, purple box that wont really fit anywhere in an entertainment center!? I mean c'mon!

My atari 400 was the worst looking. it had a keyboard like the McDonald's registers. all the keys were flat. the back stood up from the keyboard ( keypanel or whatever it was ) a couple of inches and you fliped open a lid in the middle to insert your game cartridge. damn was it ugly. plus I had the tape recorder next to it for the cassete games.

ps2 looks better standing up.

The xbox will be the best looking of course.

I would say the best looking machine ever was the N64... so sleek and smooth. The worst would be the Sega Master system. Oh yea, the GameCube comes in a HUGE variety of colors:

(NOTE: IGN reports pink not likely to hit the states)
Yes... there's even more:

LOL The GC looks like a lunchbox. Anyway, as of yet, Nintendo has stated the GC will only be available in purple and silver (the Panasonic version). That bottom pic is just recolored versions done by IGN's staff for a poll.

Oh, yea you're right about those last ten. However, all of the first ones were shown at Space World weren't they? Those haven't been recolored, so why wouldn't they be released along with the purple?

Here are some other pics:

By the way, I think that's completely childish to turn away a console just for it's looks. I dare you to tell me that you wouldn't buy the XBox if it looked like the GCN. To me, it just seems like an excuse to rationalize why the XBox is better. I find it even more insipid than the GCN's fanboys who trash the XBox for its size (even though this is more founded than bashing a system for looks).

ROFL I certainly would NEVER turn away from a console based on looks. The darn thing could look like a pile of crap complete with buzzing flys I'd still buy it if it was the most fun.

Oh, yes they were shown at Space World but, after the show IGN reported that Nintendo's offcial stance is that it would launch the GC it only purple in the US. That doesn't mean they won't release new colors down the line. The did that with the N64.

Also, to answer the original post, I like my good ol' NES. But the PS2 looks pretty cool when vertical. Of course, looks aren't everything. :D
