You might want to try returning it for another copy. I haven't had a single problem with mine, and yours is the first problem I've heard of. Might just be a bad disc.

yeah, return it, i did today and my new copy works great.

i would also like to recommend circuit city for buying games.......that is, i mean, over bestbuy. they exchanged my copy no questions asked, the lady at the counter was very polite and i forgot my receipt but they had it in the computers............i got a brand new copy wrapped up.........


i am happy, tomorrow i gotta crawl up under the house to string some cat5e from the living room to my room.........then, i shall be online WUWU!!!
