View Full Version : Counter Strike worth buying if you have it for PC??

I have CS for PC. Does anyone think it will be worth it to buy it for xbox. (new maps, new play types, weapons, ect.)

I personally dont think it will be worth it.

how can u say that it will be a super awesome game for xbox and many xbox owners will buy it i think it is worth it but thats just me.

Microsoft completely revamped Counter-Strike...it's going to be so much better that it's not even funny. I'm really looking forward to this game!

This is yet another game that I saw played at E3. Trust me..the booth was consistently full, and no one wanted to get away from the game. It was that fun to both watch and play.

I think you really have to think about what are the pros and cons of how it would play on xbox and PC.

PC:
Mouse and K-Board on PC, better graphics, user made mods and maps FOR SURE, not a MAYBE like on Xbox. Regular PC features.



Xbox:
Controller, though I dunno if thats good OR bad. Voice Communicator. No cheating or damn wall hacks. Xbox exclusive maps(7). Xbox Live Features(Friends List, voice chat sessions, etc.). Supposed full clan features.


Theres more things about both games but Im not going to list them all.

Personally, I would get the Xbox version because it is such a pain to upgrade my PC with Half Life 2 and Doom 3 coming out. I got halo does not look that good at all. It runs medal of honor allied assault fine but Halo is really slow and grainy/jaggy.

You can run Half Life 2, Counterstrike, Doom 3, Rainbow Six 3, and WHACKED all on the same system. So I would go with Xbox, i mean all the good FPSs are going to xbox and not just the PC now.

Don't waste your money if you have it for PC, unless you have alot of friends on XBL wanting to get in a clan. Stay with PC and use that 50 bucks on something else.

Get it for xbox...Ive heard Xbox has a campaign mode that PC never had...besides well Im a console fan...=P

More than one game mode? I don't think so. As far as I know it has one mode. However, it has an assload of maps, like over 20 or something.

no Ive heard all over the place that it will have a singleplayer campaign mode...with missions like multiplayer missions...rescue hostafges and all that crud...plus the DLable maps PC prolly dont have...CS will be worth every penny
