The games are done. As I write this final installment of my developer diary, all versions of SSX3 are at the various platform companies, being tested and readied for manufacturing. I thought I'd use this final chapter to reflect on how we've done vs. what we set out to do; as well what parts of the game are really standing out in my eyes.

One quick warning: If you're in a serious relationship with one of those people that needs a lot of attention, you might want to steer clear of this game. It's downright addicting, and once you start you fall deeper under its spell. Thank god it's my job to play this game, or I'd long since been booted out of my house.

When we started designing SSX3, we wanted to make a game that felt familiar to SSX players, but fresh and new at the same time. By my estimation (and lot's of hands-on user testing), I would say that we've accomplished that. At first the game feels like SSX, but some things feel slightly different and some things feel completely new.
