Industry magazine, MCV, is reporting that Microsoft will fire another shot fierce battle of the consoles. They claim that from next Friday the Xbox will be sold at £139.99 - bundled with Halo, Midtown Madness 3 and two months' worth of free Xbox Live.
MCV also claims that Sony is planning to launch its own bundle at £159.99, which will include a memory card, plus three games.
Earlier this week - Nintendo claimed that its GameCube sales had shot up by over 400 per cent in the two days following the format's drop to £79.99.
