Ive been in and out of games of hackers chatting on wolfenstein only to hear them chat about hacking up counter strike.. They are talking about hacking the things for INSTAheadshots and seeing through wallls and keeping it within their general hacking clans....

XboxLive needs to do something to prevent hackers...I dont want this to ruin Counter Strike!

Counter Strike they are not yet hacking seeing as how it hasnt been released...But the proof that hacking is being done is to get on XBL for wolfie...CHeckout the servers for 9,000 people nd join one to see the flying guys with infinite power bars, everyone has a colored name, one guy can make dead bodies float, someone said a guy grabbed the docs in Elimination mode....

Heck this Guy on the axis side grabbed the docs in safe and switched to allied but had a body on axis... floating with the docs above the truck...He kept yelling when someoneis under me tell me someone get under me...SO I got under him and he said ok...his axis body vanished and the docs fell into my hands.

I dont like this about Wolfie...and I dont want anything like this to happen to Counter Strike...Believe me or not...I dont want the game to go to ruins online.

No........u didnt even mention the worst one Rabbit....its the this guy called "ImHurleyUPuss*es" when he kills u.....u lag out of the game.

Sad that MS is letting the RTCW crap still happen for so long... but with CS being one of the biggest hacked games ever, I don't doubt, it'll happen eventually as well...

Just hope MS takes a swift kick to every cheaters as.s

Ok counterstrike on PC was hacked very much, yes.

Counterstrike on xbox....I dont think so. Im sure the people who developed it for xbox considered everything that happened to it on pc plus its not as easy to do on xbox live.

The only way you can hack a Live game is if you modded your xbox and in order to run a hack you have to turn your modchip on. When you turn your modchip on and go on live you will be banned. It does sometimes take awhile for the ban to set in. There are ways around the ban though but its a pain in the ass and you need to know what youre doing.
Dont worry about it guys....It wont be a serious issue.

All I know...Is Ive been greaatly anticipating this game and Live possibilities... I can't wait and when I get on Live I dont even want to see the people with colorful names I just want Counter Strike to be the awesome game it is without a few nerds going to mess up what they can so they can be noticed. Cant the server alter the gravity so everyone is flying?? And in the PC wolf, you can add color to your name, i believe its ^ and then a number. Does the game use Profile names or Gamertags? Cuz if it uses Profiles then im not worried but GTs, u can alter those, much less add color. All the stuff you are saying happens normally in Wolf for the PC.

Im not too worried tho because Wolf is a crap game and CS will not be, and with all the popularity it ALREADY has, much less the popularity it WILL have when it releases, I think MS will keep close tabs on the goingson of this game when it is released.

No worries here.

P.S.
You can also call a number for reporting cheaters you find on live. Write down the person's gamertag in question and then call up MS and ask to report a cheater on live.

Yeah you guys...do some of that but not to every guy that has a colored name cuz a few of them are really nice and trust me they dont deserve it...The one that hack to **** ur gaming up is when u need to call and report

I have yet to hear of anyone successfully hacking an online game on the xbox and being able to use cheats to get an advantage. Now i know of some Glitch cheats in games, but thats just figuring out what they are and executing them. It has nothing to do with someone hacking the game.

Then you haven't been on RTCW lately - unlimited air strikes, glowing names, floating people...yup, just how CS used to be on the PC - I'm going to be very weary of this game, as it could make or break MS with XBL and it's anti-hacking protection.

personally, i think that's pretty sad that people hack on console games. That's what makes console games so great. They don't need patches and crap like PC games, and you don't even have the capabilities to commit such lame acts. If cheating becomes a problem, MS will start releasing patches to games and such, and once they start doing that, then they'll start releasing half-finished games, and then releasing patches you have to DL to fix their broken shlt. Personally, i can't see cheating ruining xboxlive... because there's just too many people that play on it.

I think that for the beginning we will be protected, but when new games are released and fewer peeps start playing nobody is gonna be there to help us.. Like wolfenstein is gonna be garbage within few months ill bet.

Like for dreamcast PSO players...We all know when version2 came out if you tried to play version one you couldnt be in a lobby without ur items being wiped out, getting NOL'ed, or BSOD/FSOD... It will eventually be ruined as well.

I highly doubt that this will happen because Microsoft has a fool proof safety plan. To prevent this from ever happening, and if it by some chance it does, Microsoft will fix it from happening ever again. Personally, I think that's pretty sad that people hack on console games. Now I know of some Glitch cheats in games but as soon as Microsoft fined out that there are glitch in a game they fix it as soon as they hear about it. For example: Unreal Championship had many game Glitch and now all have been fix making cheating near imposible.

Yup the flying around was fun for a little. Then it got boring and I had to kill you:) I dont think Counterstrike will get hacked because its published my microsoft and I would think they would do everything to prevent it. But theres still that chance that it will get hacked from just looking at how wolf is.

Ok to think that we can really trust MS is insane in itself. When was the last time MS truely cared about security? Ever time they attempt to put security into anything they break it. I am not even talking about things like reg codes, but general security for the end user. It has never existed at MS and I doubt that it ever will with the code they write.

RTCW was hacked and is no fun anymore, CS will be hacked, RS3 will be hacked as well most likely. They will do very little to stop the hackers, sure there will be a few that will get banned, but I doubt MS will do much of any thing real to prevent it.

I for one do not trust MS at all.

The only reason RTCW was hacked was because of the profiles...thats all im going to say about how. But CS most likely will not be hacked because it isnt easy like RTCW is because it doesnt have PROFILES.

Yeah, so far it looks to be clear of any sort of hacking except for maybe freezing servers... I think one of our former XBA members follows me around and freezes the servers I join...Anyway, people do real good and are accused of hacking, but I surely have seen no sign of it yet.

Yeah. Wolfenstein has gotten really f'ed up from people hacking all the time. Half the time when I join a server there's nothing but airstrikes falling everywhere for like 5 mins from just 2 guys, it's freaking rediculous. I think since MS published this baby that they'll try a little harder to keep it hack free.

Catching hackers is like catching speeders. For every one of them that gets banned like 2432432134 more get away with it. It's sad, really. :confused:

RTCW was "hackable" because of profiles and "ez" game coding... The newer games like RS3, and Counter Strike have no Profiles, and supposidly have more complex game coding so that people cannot alter it, to cheat or "hack". I personally hate ALL hackers, I am the #1 ANTI Hacker for all games and systems! If hackers wouldn't have ruined RTCW by "hacking" then I think it would be still going strong today! I liked that game alot, it was kick ass. I guareente that no hacker will be able to crack RS3, and Counter Strike's game codes to hack in the near future... or like always, I could be wrong... :eek:

WE CAN HOPE that they release patches that deny cheaters, but just look at Team Fortress Classic for the PC, made by the same people who made Half Frickin Life, one of the greatest games OF ALL TIME. There was so much cheating in the MP of both HL and TFC, did Valve or Gearbox do anything about it? Nope.

A guy had to invent PunkBuster because he was so pissed off at cheaters ruining his playing time in TFC. Now, where else do you see PunkBuster? Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield(PC), Soldier Of Fortune 2(PC), RTCW(PC), and so on.......

My point being that no matter how good a game is, dont always expect the makers of the game to give a **** about the consumer, that is unless of course its in the best interest of the company, take SOCOM for the PS2 for Example.

Yes no hacks im glad to say... But there is still time left. RTCW was out a few months before it was exposed to serious obvious hacking. I will say I honestly doubt hacking at this point. But we will see in the future.

As Monky said Id believe him as far as I know hes an xbox modding freak a hobo...LoL..So he should know what hes talking about.

when i played the pc version of rtcw tere were loads of 'clean' servers and some clan servers which had NO cheating, is it like that on live? then there were some servers with loads of cheating and then some altered servers which were great fun cos everyone had the same powers, like changing uniform and modded guns.

Dont be scared weird name. You can always make private servers and keep the gaming within trustable friends.

But we are not even sure how long it will take for CS to be hacked if at all anyway.

Anyway there are a few reasons though why hacking still won't ever get as bad on XBL as it is on PC, because average jack-asses who can't play won't be able to just download hacks. Only the truely l337 and girlfriendless will be able to hack into CSX and they will find that people like me will Ban them from my servers nice and fast.

And anyway CS kicks ass from what I have seen.
