one of the best games along with hardest game. damn i loved that game. i think konami made it, i dont think it will come to xbox :cheers:

Contra was the **** back in the day. i remember playing it on NES. Lotsa fun back then.

It was decent. Similar to its predecessors, but with better weapons and visulas. Similar type of gameplay though.

it was definetly one of my favourites on NES. Once you got that spread fire you were the ****. I remember on 2 player if your partner died he could come back, in return you would lose a life. Maybe a close second to Tecmo Bowl. Followed by blades of steel, w/e that jordan vs. bird game was, tecmo baseball and so on.......sometimes i miss my NES.

super contra isn't rare, lol... out of the three nes games (it should have stayed on nes, you DO NOT retool classics) contra force is the rarest

Loved this game!

There in a Contra Advance for GBA, but I have'nt played it.

too bad it sucked though.
Also Contra came out on Genesis. Contra: Hard Crorps. It was pretty cool, but lacked the difficulty the other ones had. I love Contra, and Shattered Soldier was great too. My 2nd Fav. PS2 game, after Final Fantasy X. I wish Contra would come to the Box, with LIVE co-op. They could make a first ever 4 player co-op mode, but it would have to be even harder!!

contra force doesn't suck! it's the second best contra ever, number one being contra 3 the alien wars...
