Introduction to XBA

Hey everyone,

This would be my first post outside of XBC (scary). Just wanted to say thanks to the OPS that have eased out passage into your forums. And no hard feelings to the ones that didn't.

You guys should drop by the XBC section we are always welcoming to new gamers.

Hope to meet some of you and maybe get to get some fun games in.

Welcome to XBA! I'm sure that everybody from XBC will fit in perfectly here.

I've visited the XBC section a few times already, but not often since I don't have XBConnect (no broadband internet connection).

XBA has become an even more powerful site with the addition of XBC gamers. Plus we have more gamers to talk to now!

To be honest, non of us knew what to think when the shift took place. It started as a rumor over at the old XBC forum and everyone freaked out. But its not so bad after all. I just have alot more reading to do.

So I take it most here are XBL players vs XBC. I play live occasionally but my stupid mutt ate my communicatior. No seriously, my dog ate it.

Jax has a point tho, we all have whined like a new pretty boy inmate, but its been a hardcore shift to our everyday forum browsing.

But to tell you a little bit about myself.

I'm 24, I'm a CUBS fan, I live around the Chicago area (just moved to suburbs), used to be in the ARMY and now I sell phones (hey I make decent money). My girlfriend has turned into a Halo addict and that makes my life easier.

I used to be cool until I landed on XBC, now I am a serious geek.

Well I think I'm late for work, so I better bounce for now.

Yea, I know the dates, and I'm heated too, cuz if they did make it, Chaotic Mage was going to get me tickets to Game 5 - I would have driven out there just for that. I've never been to Wrigley but sooooo want to go to a game there.

Yeah i pop my head in XBC every now and than to see if any of you are on. But i havent seen anyone on yet.

I dont play halo on XBC often, but im sure i will hold my own. :wink:

Yes its funny how we are of the same group, but at the same time split into two groups. XBA and XBC. Anyways, glad you made this post cause im sure others like me have stumbled upon this XBC and have been very happily suprised..I just cant wait to get started by hopefully next week.
