View Full Version : BMX XXX Lawsuit settled between Acclaim and Dave Mirra

Acclaim Entertainment, Inc., a global video entertainment software developer and publisher, today announced that Dave Mirra, the world's premiere BMX athlete and the Company have amicably resolved their differences surrounding a contract dispute between the parties. Mr. Mirra's lawsuit against the Company was settled with no monetary or other damages being paid by either side, and Mr. Mirra will continue, uninterrupted, to be under contract with Acclaim until the year 2011. Additionally, the Company has begun working on the development of a new Dave Mirra BMX video game for the next-generation gaming systems, details of which will be announced shortly.

I doubt anyone will take acclaim seriously again for their bike games after XXX anyway. We'll just have to wait and see what's next.

I'm very glad about this.

I liked Mirra 2 and Agressive Inline very much.

I hope they fine tune the engine for the next version.

Too bad I got rid of that game. The trick elements where good, but the novelty of the game got old, and I just stopped playing it for my other games. At one point, I put the shirt back on my girl rider just for the sake of something new to look at.

did anyone actually ever buy bmx xxx??
