Halo Booster Disk..??

I heard this idea floating around but it never happened. Not that im expecting it to happen now, im just wondering why they made a xbox live booster for Moto GP and didn't even try (from what i've heard) to make one for halo. This was just something i was thinking about and just figured i should ask. Im just supprized that Bungie or Microst didnt make it an addition to some Xbox live version, or sell the booster disk for like $10.

Thats what I assumed, but im suprized Microsoft didn't jump on that idea. I wonder........

Don't know why either. It would have gotten them a few more bucks, but I guess they wanted to ensure that the next Halo was leaps and bounds above the original.

IIRC, the networking code would had to have been totally rewritten to make Halo Xbox Live compatable and they didn't think it was worth the time investment when they had other things to worry about (Halo 2).

I thought there would of had to been something that would have taken time to work out. I'm just wondering why since you do Xbox live from the dashboard anyways why they couldn't think of something to you'se the system link capabiltys. Mabye they should talk with XBConnects people, since its only a rumor that it will come out in April 2004.
