Closing Comments:

"There's a lot to like about kill.switch. As it's one of those types of experiences that's easy to pick-up, difficult in all the right places, and oozes Hollywood atmosphere without sacrificing too many gameplay convictions. While we can't say that we approve of its particularly short-sided length and occasional camera problems, it's still one hell of a fun ride while it lasts; especially if for fans of military excursions like Freedom Fighters and Conflict: Desert Storm. Ideally, the game may not have enough to warrant becoming a must-purchase title for gamers searching for long-term satisfaction. But for those of us looking for something a little less cookie-cutter in the shooting genre with a couple of hours to spare, then kill.switch is definitely attractive. Call it the "Ultimate Rental" or perhaps the "Ultimate Bargain Bin Pickup" when it lowers in price in a couple of months, kill.switch is at the very least worth your attention."

Presentation -
The spooky flashbacks and storyline are much cooler than we anticipated and the hi-tech military atmosphere is perfect. The load times aren't too bad either.

- 8.5

Graphics -
We enjoyed the lighting effects and particles quite a bit, but we've definitely seen better textures and models in plenty of other games. Expect occasional slowdown in later areas.

- 7.5

Sound -
It may not have the most advanced coding in the world, but everything from the soundtrack to the voices are top-notch. Great audio effects too.

- 8.5

Gameplay -
Recurring camera issues and a lack of variety in enemies may turn you off, but he crouching idea works well and there are plenty of targets to shoot. Most of all, it's just plain fun.

- 8.1

Lasting Appeal -
At most, players are looking at five to six hours to complete the game on normal difficulty. Sadly, there's little incentive to go back after you've beaten it.

- 6.0

I am suprised by this score. This title acually looks quite impressive, except for the fact that the length of time in which a person takes to complete Kill.Switch is far from impressive. This game looks to be significantly improved from Namco's effort last year, Dead to Rights.
