The Great Halo Scavenger Hunt

If you haven't all ready heard, The Great Halo Scavenger Hunt (http://halo.bungie.org/misc/tghshrules.html) is taking place on Bungie and Halo related sites. I was hoping that I might be able to either inform people of what I all ready know, including trinket locations in an effort to get some help myself. If you can help or would like some help, let me know.

well, going to that site confused me more than trying to guess what this whole thread was about. Trinkets + Halo = what?

damn, that wuz a long article on the hbo forum. i'll have to get back to reading it, but i noticed it said "trinket" 3 times, but they were all some private's name. hmm...
anyhow, i found a trinket that's a compass, one that says east, one that looks like an icon of guilty spark and says 'favicon', and one that says south. if anyone can use this, you're welcome.
i could use some hints myself....*hint,hint* ;)
