View Full Version : cdrs and the xbox?

is it possible to get songs downloaded on the net in the xbox it only read real audio cds , without having to buy the music mixer ?

if you have a new version of the xbox then you can burn your songs onto a cd and then load them on your xbox. my little brother does this..

unfortuneatly for me i have the first version and it doesnt work for me.

thats one way i know of.. other people may know others..

yeah, that's correct. you need a new version of xbox to rip from cd-r's. fortunately i have a new xbox so i'm able to do this...

EDIT: but, erm, of course i have the original copies of all the music that i have on my xbox and of all the songs that i burn to cd. i hate piracy!

if your music was legally purchased from one of the online music download places (itunes, etc...) then thats a different story. IF thats the case, i may reopen this thread for further discussion. maybe.
