In my oppinion this game will be just as good, if not better, than the pc version....ITs gonna take RTCW place...:p

I just got cable internet last friday, part of the deal was it comes with xbox live starter kit and mechassault for free, or at no extra charge atleast. Don't really care much about that game but i definetly plan on getting CS. More than anything I wish NCAA football was online but oh well.....

Of course im getting counter strike...thats going to be the best FPS multiplayer between Halo and Halo2.... If you dont get it ur 2 young for the violence or 2 naution for the running around...EVERY gamer needs this game!.....:p

I'm getting it, but quick question....Is there any sort of multiplayer offline mode or single player story mode? I could've sworn I read there wasn't but I'm not really sure.

question: is it gonna be the 2 joystick control like MoH? I'm sure i'm going to get my ass kicked very consistently for awhile since I only played the PC version a few times and never play FPS overall anyways. But the reason I never played CS before was cuz i was on a 56k.....not cool.

Yeah, not rushing out for CS. Will probably try to rent it early and check it out, but R6 is doing just fine for me right now. It's too hard to stay active in too many XBL games. If it's as good as advertised, I'll definitely pick it up though.

Never played it on PC, so don't really know what to expect.

Any REAL fan of FPS multiplayer games is gonna have the right mind to pick this up.. I would seriously say renting it is a waste of 5 bucks espesh when you'll probably buy it a few days afterwards.. (IMO)

Good thing it comes with a 2 month trial of live, because my free live kit does not arrive for another month or so.

YES!~ I knew it.... Thats a good thing.. Do you know how it will run? Will it be pretty much multiplayer with bots runing around and a lil story movies played during loading time...or will it be like an FPS sorta thing where there are enemies all over a map and you gotta save hosties and sneak out undetected and you kinn your way in and out of the hostie room sorta thing?

There's no single player campaign, only single-player with bots. They'll occasionally surprise you with their skill, and sometimes with their stupidity as well.

However, playing with other people is probably the most fun I've had on an xbox. I can't wait till its released so I can play it again. Counter-Strike really lives up to the hype, I think.

I heard its bots but I also heard there will be story behind it...Of course single player is gonna have bots....DeR!...LoLz...Im supposing you mean multiplayer with bots...Well ok you got me there...But still...STORY BEHIND IT!:p

Does anyone know whether CounterStrike for XBox will have 4 player splitscreen multiplayer ( a la Halo )?

I was hoping I can play system link and go 4x4 with Counterstrike.

I won't get it for three reasons:


1) No cash. I don't have the money to pick it up. Recently I've bought alot of games, thus I'm broke

2) Rainbow Six 3. I'm simply too addicted to this game right now. Why get another game?

3) I've playing this game for three years. It's old now.




So here's a plea: Don't leave playing RS3. I hate it when I load up my friends list and EVERYBODY is playing a game I don't own. I hope some of yall stick with RS3--it's a great game.

LoL...well considering my newest game was RTCW(4-5months old) I wasnt quite thinking that way. CS is the biggest thing for me since Halo!! Im for real. I havent anticipated a game this much since I did a dance after opening up an xbox and the Halo game on christmas nearly 2 years ago.

Theres no uses asking becuase everyone wants the best game ever made on there XBOX! I love CS i'm playing it right now on my other computer! When i heard that it is coming out soon i went crazy! I hope it lets you play more then just 1 person at a time like halo! I hope XBC has like a server that will let me in and does not FW me :(

So yes, i getting CS! and you better believe i'm up for a game!
