Ranking system for Rainbow Six 3

ANyone figure out how the ranking system works on this game> ELO or whatever it is? Its like I can be doing ****ty.... then get 3 kills in a row and then Im like #1 in the room. Is the ranking oer room or since the sever has started? I;ve seen people with no kills and no deaths ranked higher than people who have like a 1.5 kill to death ratio. ANyone got it figured out?

is there an accuracy, rounds fired, and rounds hit ratio?? That might have something to do with it.

It goes from round to round in the game, that's why you're #1 in the room. As far as online ranking overall goes, I'm not too sure about that, but I'd hope that it's death/kill ratio.

There is definatly something wrong with this ranking system.

I was for example like 29-11 then i played af few games and got some kills and some deaths then i was at like 25-20. For some reason kills and deaths either add or subtract :huh: :confused: I'm still trying to figure out wtf it does this. I know jjax had the same thing happen to him and so did a few others i was playing with on the first night.

For a while last night I probably had the worst death to kill ratio, but by the end I think I pretty much evened it out.

I too am baffled by the ranking system... i play 5 hours more than this guy and he's overall ranked higher than me??? :?

The ranking is based on the same ranking as chess.. If you are good, u score less for killing someone with a lower ranking than you, If u have a low elo and kill someone with ahigher elo u are awarded many more points.. So basically, if someone is good killing ppl with an elo less than theirs they will not score but a few points. and if u have a low elo, and kill the higher elo u will get many points, that is why u jump and down in room stats after each match
