Dedicated Servers

I love this Ubi Servers and Xservers, and I play on them all the time..anyone else?

I hope this is a sign to come for Halo 2, and other games coming out.

Ubi Servers? Xservers? Explain.

I haven't gone looking for servers too much yet. Are they named a certain way or something?

Do a search for dedicated servers - Ubi servers are hosted by UbiSoft and Xservers are set up by Microsoft. Both are on T3 connections I believe.

I don't use them, cuz um, when I'm playing, I host :)

But I did use them last weekend when I was at Lil Skeez's, but was still getting lag, not sure why, but it sucked.

the ubiservers are setup for no grenade launchers and thermal on..they change maps every 30 minutes or so and have a timer in the lobby for when people step away from their xbox

the xservers allow grenade launchers(n00bology) and thermal but change maps every hour or so, and have no timer, so its easy to get stuck in a lobby waiting for 1 loser to hit x

the last set i've seen are xblserverscom and they are my fav...they change maps every 5 or so rounds, have a timer, dont allow grenade launchers and have NO thermal(this makes smoke badass)

all in all, the inclusion of dedicated servers allows people to not rely on hosts or the people with little to no upload trying to host......which is a step up from previous games, because everyone hates sucking up to a host so they can get a lagfree game

and there is never any lag in a dedicated server that has grenade launchers off (50+ HOURS EXPERIENCE)

I would like them a lot better if you could vote and if SOME could have no gernade launchers. But ya i like the connection quality so far.

i pretty much like the UBI servers the best. i find alot of good ppl on those servers

you also have to remember this is where all the anooying kids and just people who u cant stand hang out at....theres always sum lil kid screaming or sum *** 14 year olds kids just spitting jibberish...therefore u cant teamkill them because they have penalty on...:cuss:

He's getting the game soon enough - he's just been busy with coding and stuff for his own business. He played some times at my place when he wanted to see the game - he's sold.

Yup, once someone says something stupid, or i dont like their voice. I mute them.
